Meet Jen Glatt, a hotel storyteller with nearly two decades of experience shaping how destinations sound and feel. I first found her through Mint Pillow, one of my favorite newsletters, and have followed her ever since. ⚡️ Your Q4 ecommerce checklist for peak holiday sales // Search Engine Land
Search Engine Land’s Q4 ecommerce checklist stresses preparation across site performance, creative, and ad execution to capture peak holiday demand. Brands are urged to audit technical setup, ready campaign assets early, and refresh audience data to maximize conversions during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas.
Hotel Marketing Takeaway:
➟ Audit and readiness: Test your hotel’s website speed, booking flow, and tracking before Cyber Week. Even a one-second delay can cut conversion rates by up to 7%.
➟ Audience and data prep: Update CRM and remarketing segments (e.g., past holiday guests, spa visitors, dining reservations) to target the most conversion-ready audiences during peak shopping weeks.

community // Artisan Club at Cotino
Disney’s first Storyliving community in California’s Coachella Valley opens a new chapter with the debut of the Artisan Club, a private gathering space designed to celebrate creativity, connection, and desert living. Blending mid-century design with Disney’s hallmark storytelling, the club features dining, pools, and programming centered on art, culture, and wellness. More than a residential amenity, it reflects a new vision of lifestyle hospitality where community becomes an experience crafted with intention and imagination.
wellness // Après-Ski Reimagined
Across the Alps, a new generation of mountain retreats is redefining après-ski as a restorative ritual rather than a celebration of excess. From thermal baths in Verbier to forest saunas in St. Moritz, wellness now takes center stage as travelers seek balance between altitude and recovery. Rooted in alpine nature and design simplicity, these sanctuaries trade champagne toasts for cold plunges and candlelight, offering a slower, more sensory form of winter indulgence.
art & culture // Dubai Museum of Art (DUMA)
Opening in 2029, the Dubai Museum of Art represents a new chapter in the city’s cultural evolution. Designed as a global center for creativity and dialogue, DUMA will anchor Dubai’s emerging art district with a collection that spans contemporary, regional, and international works. The museum’s architecture mirrors its mission through bold, fluid, and forward-looking design, positioning Dubai as both a crossroads of commerce and a curator of modern culture.
experience // Come To Your Senses, Saint Lucia
Saint Lucia invites travelers to rediscover the Caribbean through a sensory journey of nature, romance, and wellness. The “Come To Your Senses” campaign celebrates the island’s vibrant landscapes and culture, from the scent of tropical blooms and the rhythm of local music to the touch of volcanic sand beneath the feet. With rainforest hikes, sunset sails, and soothing mud baths, Saint Lucia transforms travel into an awakening of the senses, blending adventure and tranquility into one unforgettable escape.
